J + K Elope in Las Vegas Their Way!
J + K came all the way from Georgia with two of their closest friends to have the most Las Vegas elopement ever. With Red Rock on their mind and a little adventure, we set off on a day they wouldn’t soon forget. Explore below how J + K made their elopement day all about them.
Getting Ready
The day starts off slow at The MGM Signature where J + K are getting ready in separate rooms with their friends. While J puts on her finishing touches and takes a swig of champagne, K heads downstairs to grab a drink in the bar. They’re both excited to get the day started. MGM Signature offers MGM Grand access without the casino. Lots of their rooms offer balconies and separate bedrooms and have access to the MGM Grand amenities, like their pool complex and valet parking. You can find MGM Signature rooms on Air BnB or VRBO.
First Look
Right outside of the MGM Signature are great big courtyards with big beautiful golden windows which is where we picked for J + K to finally meet. With their friends by their sides, J taps on K’s shoulder to show off her wedding gown. K is stunned and excited and we set off into the desert with the couple smitten to tie the knot.
Desert Ceremony
Right outside of Red Rock Canyon National Park is access to plenty of desert landscape where donkeys bray in the distance and where the sun is prime to set behind the mountain. We take a short walk off trail and are surrounded by Joshua Trees and green brush. They take in the quiet together, laughing as Favi guides them through their love story, revealing the things they love about each other.

About their favorite adventure to Colorado together, and how they both look forward to this new life with both of their children.
They seal their ceremony with a kiss and a FaceTime call from their family, but before they’re all done, their friend pops the champagne to celebrate them and pours it up for all of them to celebrate. They all get to partake while they watch the sunset in the desert. They dance their first dance, J barefoot on the lonely road that brings you to the foot of the Red Rocks.
As the wind picks up and the night begins to cool us all, we make a few more desert memories with their friends and discover little crevices of rocks and desert wildlife together.
El Dorado Cantina
Off to dinner at El Dorado Cantina, where the vibe is sexy, almost as sexy as J + K.
The Strat
We head back to the Strip for drinks at the Top of the Strat. This shit is high as hell. Like, I can’t believe there’s rides at the top. Like my ears popped as we went up the elevator high.
Impromptu Tattoos
I could hear a conversation between J + K reviving the idea of matching tattoos. So I call the closest spot to make sure they have some time and within 10 minutes we’re walking into Koolsville Tattoo, a world famous Las Vegas chain that offers $10 flash designs. Yes, I said $10. They get matching hearts to mark the moment permanently. And with their hearts etched on their literal sleeves we’re off again into the night with debauchery on our mind.
Fremont Street Partying
We continue on into the evening and head to Fremont Street where the party is loud. Under the canopy is a light show where you can just get captured in the street performances and flashing lights. It’s overwhelming but J + K take it in stride making out in every corner they can find themselves a second alone. Their guests, willing participants and all the about the party, found themselves in crowds just dancing in the street. There’s a fiery praying mantis that shoots flames from its antennae. They can feel heat from across the street. They dance like nobody is watching and like everyone is there to celebrate them.
