A + J - The Brits Elope in Las Vegas
A + J came all the way from the UK to elope with us and we were more than excited to show them some of our favorite places in town. Let’s talk about it!
Elopement Ceremony at Red Rock
We arrive at Red Rock to meet A + J for their ceremony. The day is cool and lovely and the sun is just about to set behind the mountain. Surrounded by Joshua Trees and the silence of the mountain, A + J say their vows with just 2 of us to witness it all. Red Rock is the perfect setting where most couples forget they’re only within 20 minutes of the bustle in the city. Layers of red rocks and sediment make seem to sprout spiky trees and bushes where sometimes donkeys hide and bray the day away.
During their ceremony we tell them all about the ways they love each other, annoy each other, a little about how they got here, and how see their future together.
As childhood sweethearts, they know each other deeply. They’ve lived life together full of trips and adventures, like their favorite ones in Singapore and Bali.
Twelve years together and the love they share is marked everyday with kisses before work and a thirst for spontaneous adventure.
Cruising the Strip
Their first kiss complete we head off into the night, back to the Strip. Their first stop is the famous Las Vegas sign where the lines are long in the evening but still worth the stop. Then we cruise the Strip and stop at Bellagio to scope the famous fountain show. Their last stop is the Venetian where they grope each other under hand painted ceilings just like the real Venice.
